You should have postnatal/postpartum fitness certification from a reputable organization (NASM, ACE, AFAA, or specialized postnatal certifications like Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism). Many specialists also have pelvic floor certifications, diastasis recti training, or pre/postnatal corrective exercise certifications. General liability insurance covering postnatal instruction is required.
